Funchal City Sessions #11 - Francisco Pedro Oliveira

Funchal City Sessions return for their #11 edition with Francisco Pedro Oliveira, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice delves into the symbolic nature of matter and its capacity for transformation. Working across substances, perception, acoustic phenomena and ancestral gestures, Oliveira creates experiences where matter becomes a site of encounter - between body and substance, the tangible and the spiritual, the visible and the sensed. His work unfolds through processes that invite us to look, touch and listen, opening spaces where the eyes, the hands and the heart converge. Among his recent works are "Bolborinho" (2023) and "Amuleto Apotropaico" (2025), developed in collaboration with António Feiteira. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
