Community Hike #119, Sunset Mountain Walk

Share a mountain sunset with fellow hikers on a community walk to Madeira’s highest peak, followed by a return beneath the stars. This self-guided outing follows an out-and-back route with mountain terrain, steps and some exposed sections, rated moderate by the organisers. A headlamp is mandatory for the return journey. Bring warm layers, good hiking shoes, 1–1.5 litres of water, snacks and a charged phone. Arrange a lift or offer spare seats through the original post’s comments.
