Exposição "VOLTAS"

VOLTAS — An exhibition, a return, two worlds. Madeiran artist Leonor Oliveira returns to her homeland for an afternoon dedicated to painting, music, and live artistic creation. On 19 December, COWORK Funchal hosts the exhibition "VOLTAS", an encounter between art, memory, and identity, where each work tells a story and each colour invites you to discover a new perspective. Born in Funchal, Leonor Oliveira holds a degree in Painting from the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. After presenting her work in Portugal and Brazil, she returns to Madeira to share her artistic journey with the local public. The opening will feature a special moment: "Dois Mundos", a multidisciplinary performance bringing together visual artist Leonor Oliveira and international violinist Jotta Pê. During the concert, the artist creates a painting in real time, while the violin brings to life an experience where music and painting meet before the audience. A work that is born, grows, and gains identity throughout the performance.
