International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Discover Madeira’s living cultural heritage through an engaging morning of testimony, music and shared knowledge. Representatives will discuss the Madeiran cobblestone tradition, the Romagem de São Pedro pilgrimage and Câmara de Lobos’ Ash Wednesday procession, exploring their cultural meaning and preservation. The programme also features traditional Madeiran music from Associação Musical e Cultural Xarabanda’s Cantigas Cá de Dentro project, followed by a visit to the exhibition Património Imaterial: Saberes que Inspiram.
