Legno Duo

Enjoy a chamber recital by Legno Duo, bringing together violinist Joana Costa and marimba player Duarte Santos. Their repertoire combines Ney Rosauro’s Two Movements for Violin and Marimba with Astor Piazzolla’s Café 1930 and Nightclub 1960. The programme also features Carlos Seixas’s Sonatas Nos. 18 and 24 and Emmanuel Séjourné’s Attraction. This pairing offers listeners an opportunity to explore the interaction between violin and marimba through music by four composers, with contrasting melodic lines, textures and rhythms.
