Madeira Nature Festival 2026

The Madeira Nature Festival invites residents and visitors to explore the archipelago through outdoor sport, adventure and well-being activities. The programme traditionally encompasses levada walks, canyoning beside mountain waterfalls, cycling along forest trails and experiences connected with Madeira’s cultural and historical heritage. Activities take place from the coast to the mountains and highlight landscapes including the UNESCO-listed Laurissilva forest. Gastronomy, wine tourism, music and wellness complement the active programme, which is designed for participants of different ages and experience levels. Programme: 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, Meditative Sound Journey with Ana Luísa. 8:30 AM, breakfast. 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Echoo Food Court. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Robertins workshop and puppet performance for children. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Natural Soap Workshop. 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Orienteering Experience at Achada do Loural in Rosário. 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Echoo Talks. 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, local producers’ market. 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, live acoustic didgeridoo performance with Didgetomm. 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, acoustic concert with André Santos. 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Echoo Kids Area. 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sound Journey with Mahdi Hléwi. 6:00 PM, Echoo Nature Fest closes. The Madeira Whale Festival exhibition at Madeira Story Centre also continues on this date.
