Madeira International Organ Festival

Discover how composers honour the musicians who inspired them in this recital by Australian organist Alexander Paine. The programme brings together musical tributes, imaginative variations and transformations of familiar themes, with works by Bach, Brahms, Liszt, Jehan Alain and others. From intimate reflection to virtuoso writing for the organ pedals, the concert explores the dialogue between musical generations. It offers an engaging introduction to the festival and to the expressive range of the organ.
