Trans Madeira 2026 – Mountain Bike Race

The Trans Madeira enduro race returns this autumn, offering a six-day, 220-kilometre mountain biking journey across the island from Machico to Calheta. Operating on a "Bike Camp Experience" format, the event challenges riders with over 30 special stages connecting high mountains to the coast, concluding each day at scenic campsites. Limited to 140 participants and designed for mixed experience levels rather than just professionals, the comprehensive race package covers meals, camping accommodation, luggage transfers, on-island transport, and timing. E-bikes are not permitted. Exact times and places will be announced
