TBD: Mulheres com História

Mulheres com História is a multidisciplinary concert by C’azoada that celebrates and gives visibility to the women who have shaped Madeiran culture, music and memory. The performance combines music, literature and visual art, drawing on the creative work of the group C’azoada and featuring themes from the book Mulheres com História, which brings together eleven original short stories by Andreia Baptista and eleven traditional Madeiran songs arranged by the ensemble. Teresa Serrano’s graphic design and illustrations further enrich the work’s visual identity. Blending traditional Madeiran sounds with contemporary musical arrangements and narratives, the performance creates a dialogue between past and present, offering new perspectives on the role of women in the island’s history, culture and arts.
