Volunteers of Hope, Invasive Species Control

Join a community conservation session dedicated to protecting Madeira’s native Laurissilva forest. Volunteers will help control invasive plants, particularly montbretia, preventing them from spreading deeper into the forest. The activity continues restoration work undertaken during previous sessions and supports the long-term recovery of this ecologically important area. Participants will work alongside the IFCN and the Wild FF environmental project while learning about invasive species and their effects on Madeira’s biodiversity.
