Choux Pâtisserie – although centrally located in Funchal, this charming café remains somewhat hidden thanks to its location on the first floor opposite the Jardim Municipal, making it a real insider tip. Owner Joana Gonçalves lovingly creates all the delicacies by hand – from sophisticated French-inspired pastries to seasonal specialities. It is the ideal place to enjoy artistic pastries and an atmosphere of tranquillity and elegance over a cup of tea. (Please note: closed on Sundays.)
