PR2 Vereda do Urzal to Eira do Serrado

A beautiful A-to-B route over a high mountain pass! I started in the north at the beginning of the PR2 route in Lombo do Urzal. Because this route has so much elevation gain, it is one of the less-walked PR routes on the island. The route is usually not very technical, but given the elevation gain, it can certainly be described as challenging. In my case, at the end of the PR2 route, I continued my way into the beautiful Nun's Valley, eventually climbing back up via steep stairs to Eira do Serrado, one of the most spectacular and dramatic viewpoints on the island.
