FEMME SENSUAL FLOW

A class created to explore femininity, fluidity, confidence and freedom of movement, while developing a deeper and more conscious connection with your own body. Femme Sensual Flow combines movement training with work on flexibility, strength, control, posture, coordination and body awareness, helping you move with greater ease, grace and intention. We also explore pelvic-floor awareness and conscious muscular recruitment, encouraging a better understanding of this important area of the body and its connection with posture, stability and movement. Each class gradually builds towards a choreographic sequence, blending elements of Burlesque, Heels, Chair Dance and Floorwork. The focus is not on perfection, but on discovering your own way of moving, expressing yourself and feeling comfortable in your body. This class take place in a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, where every woman is encouraged to explore movement at her own pace and level. And the setting is part of the experience: Creative Act Madeira is a characterful, vintage-inspired studio, designed to feel intimate, welcoming and a little different from the traditional dance studio. All levels are welcome. No previous dance experience is required. Come to move, express yourself; and reconnect with your body in a different way.
