Inter Madeira Walking Football (IMWF), founded in January 2021, is a community-driven club dedicated to promoting walking football on Madeira Island. Our diverse group, composed of men and women aged 50+ from various nationalities, welcomes both permanent residents and visitors to join our sessions. Our mission is to foster fun, camaraderie, and well-being through walking football, a low-impact sport that enhances physical and mental health while encouraging social connections. Although not an officially registered club, IMWF is committed to several goals: enjoying active play, improving overall health, and introducing walking football to Madeira’s local community and visitors alike. We also aim to promote sports tourism by showcasing this inclusive activity to like-minded individuals seeking an active and social lifestyle. How to Join?
