Madeira International Organ Festival

Follow Brazilian organist Elisa Freixo on a musical journey connecting European traditions with South American creativity. The recital moves from Renaissance and Baroque works to music preserved in Bolivia’s Chiquitos missions and compositions from Brazil. Scarlatti, Carlos Seixas, Marcos Portugal and other composers reveal how melodies, instruments and ideas travelled between cultures.
