Course
Levada Nova as far as Jangao, bypass via the road, Levada Nova to the Madre, northwards in the river bed of the Ribeira da Ponta do Sol, back to the Madre of the Levada do Moinho, Levada do Moinho as far as Lombada, on the road to Jangao, back on the Levada Nova to the starting point
Distance: ca. 16 Km 100 m of ascent
Start: 10.30 north of Candelaria at the crossing of the road with the Levada Nova
End
16.50 north of Candelaria at the crossing of the road with the Levada Nova
Condition
Good protection, moderate; the places on the Levada Nova that used to be dangerous have been thoroughly secured; on the Levada do Moinho there are a few slipped sections where you have to take care
