From Montado do Sabugal climb to the Levada da Serra do Faial, against the direction of flow to the Pico Ruivo tunnel, Levadinha Joao de Deus to the Madre, back to the Levada da Serra do Faial, in the direction of flow to the place of the climb (the onward course is closed), via the gravel track to Faja da Nogueira, geocache "A Casa dos Flinstone", climb to the Levada da Serra do Faial, through the Pico Nogueira tunnel to the Levada Nova do Juncal, to its Madre with a menhir, back to the starting point

Levada da Serra do Faial straightforward in this section; Levadinha Joao de Deus exposed in places, with and without protection; Levada Nova do Juncal easy until after the long tunnel, then exposed with protection that is damaged in places
