Course
- Parked the car in Corujeira on the road from Ribeira Brava to Furnas (junction with the Levada Nova), with the 2nd car to the junction of the road with the Levada de Tabua; from here on the Levada de Tabua upstream to the Madre, on a concrete track and small paths to Tabua, and from here on the Levada Nova downstream to the 1st car
Distance: 8.9 Km, 85 Hm ascent, 323 Hm descent
Start: 16.10 north-east of Faja da Urtiga

Condition
The Levada de Tabua is easy to walk, as is the descent to Tabua. The Levada Nova is wide and well maintained; one spot is somewhat exposed, 1 short tunnel.
