Condition
The ascent in the forest is a little slippery, with several stream crossings. The descent to Achada da Madeira has been freshly tidied. The CR209 is very fine. The ascent to the levada is rough and in places pathless. The levada is in good condition
Notes
A beautiful ascent in authentic laurel forest. The Levada da Achada da Madeira has wide views to the other side of the valley and to the Pico Canario
