Course
Start on the road above Faja do Penedo in Lamaceiros. Follow the lower course of the Levada das Faias as far as the second-to-last level drop (a large waterfall), back to the track that leads up to the Boca das Voltas, and on the track back to the start. A final drink at the Restaurante Sao Cristovao, looking out over Entrosa.
Distance: 9 km, 135 m of ascent, 135 m of descent

Condition
A narrow levada, in places a little overgrown and also exposed, but it makes up for that with lush green vegetation.
Remarks
This was really an alternative walk, because our main aim, walking the circuit of the Poco das Pulgas, was unrealistic in the pouring rain.
