After the Madre the course runs first along the left side of the stream for about 20 metres, then crosses the Ribeira on a levada bridge, and continues on the flat lombo between the main branch and the right-hand side branch of the Ribeira de Santo Antonio

From the Impasse dos Lamaceiros, and from the opposite direction on the path that comes down from Cortado or from the road from Santo Antonio to Cortado
