From the Madre in the channel works of the Ribeira de São João, on in the wall as far as the bridge over the Ribeira de São João. Across the old aqueduct, on to the partly narrow Caminho da Levada de São João and finally to the Rua da Levada de São João, and along that to the end of the street (where it joins the Caminho de Santo Antonio).
