Course
From the Madre in the Ribeiro da Chamusca through thicket to the Poço do Cabouco. This serves as an intermediate reservoir.
On across fields; here the residual water of the Levada da Chamusca flows in. On to the point where it enters the rock face. At first exposed and secured with ropes, then a little lower on the rock face to the edge of Ponta Delgada. Here it meets the ER 211 (Estrada das Lombadas) and continues on the other side of the road, between the houses, to the storage reservoir at the end of the levada, which today you can also see comfortably from the expressway. The residual water then flows on in the terminal branch of the Levada de Cima.
