Course
After the Madre, across meadows and later into the forest.
Crossing with the access road to the cable car to Calhau das Achadas.
From here quite hard to follow, partly in natural stream beds, as far as the cliff above Calhau. From here a waterfall, and after that an intake above the fields.
From here the fields are irrigated by small terminal levadas

Condition
Easy to moderate, depending on how well the levada has been cleared; the stretch between the Caminho do Teleferico and the waterfall is not walkable
