Course
Starting from the Lombo Gordo above the Levada Velha dos Cedros to the picnic area beside the ER209; from here parallel to the Levada Velha dos Cedros towards today's Levada Nova dos Cedros. I assume that the Levada do Lombo Gordo and the Levada Velha dos Cedros ran, roughly on the line of the present Levada Nova dos Cedros, to above Ribeira da Janela.

Out of use; it was replaced by the Levada Nova dos Cedros (probably in the period 1960-1980)

In the bed of the old levada a drinking-water pipe that is still in use was probably laid
