First a steep stretch through the wood, then to the ER-103, then along the ER-103, from here by side lanes, back to the ER-103, straight on by the side lane and back to the ER-103, and there a turn-off to a reservoir. The levada presumably continues, piped, through the Quinta Jardins do Imperador park

Water supply for Monte

Access

From the ER-103 in the upper part by the gravel track, or from the southern part of the Parque Ecologico do Funchal via the Casa do Barreiro or the Pico Alto; near the upper reservoir, directly from the ER-103. Further down, directly from the ER-103.
