Blue Safari Madeira

For a more intimate and thrilling ride at sea, Blue Safari Madeira offers whale and dolphin watching tours aboard fast, sleek RIB vessels (max 18 people) that prioritize respect over speed — no chasing or feeding, just real wildlife, close encounters, and expert guides. Small groups ensure a personal experience, better views, and ideal breaks for photos and marine commentary. As a responsible whale watching company, every trip has a purpose: Blue Safari collects photo-ID data of the animals encountered and shares it with larger research entities to contribute to ongoing scientific studies. Operating daily from Marina do Funchal, this is the perfect choice for wildlife lovers who value ethics and adventure in one package. Prices are premium but include a guarantee — if no whale or dolphin species is sighted (which is very rare), a free return trip is offered.
