Campsite Fanal

This campsite is located in Madeira's most enchanting mystical forest 🤩 Fanal is known for its 1,000-year-old stink laurel trees, many of which have fantastic shapes. The forest has a particularly magical, mystical aura when it is foggy - and that is often the case due to the climate up there! The tent and adjacent barbecue area are near the parking lot (Fanal picnic area). If you are camping here, you should definitely do the two wonderful hikes PR 13 - Vereda do Fanal and PR 14 - Levada dos Cedros!
