Mero Diving Center

Mero Diving Center is located directly at Garajau Beach, within the protected Garajau Nature Reserve. The area is one of Madeira’s most established dive sites, known for clear water conditions and a stable marine life population, including large groupers. The center operates in a structured way and caters to different experience levels – from first-time dives to guided dives for certified divers. Courses, equipment rental and tank refills are part of the regular offer, with a clear focus on safety and routine procedures. In addition, the center offers special dives such as wreck dives to the Afonso Cerqueira Corvette, night dives, and selected trips to other locations, including the shipwreck off Porto Santo. These dives are guided and intended for experienced divers. Thanks to its seaside location, dives start and end directly from the shore. The calm conditions of the reserve and consistently good visibility make Garajau a reliable spot for regular diving.
