Praia dos Reis Magos (Caniço)

We love coming to Caniço de Baixo beach for several reasons. At the far end, you can watch the Atlantic waves crash against the rocks. You can easily get into the water via steps on the left if you are looking at the ocean, or a ladder on the right, where the water is also deep enough for a nice jump in. The beach has a natural swimming pool, showers and toilets, and the beautifully landscaped promenade is perfect for a walk with great ocean views. We recommend the snack bar Nova Onda - Cantinho dos Petiscos. It is a little hidden behind the other snack bar on the beachfront, so it is easy to miss, but the prices are much lower and we think it is the better option. There are also free parking options nearby, which makes a visit to Praia dos Reis Magos even more convenient.
