Queroo - Flavours that tell stories

Quero offers authentic food experiences inspired by Madeira’s traditions, local ingredients and family recipes. Created by Maria, the project invites visitors to discover the island through warm and hands-on culinary experiences. Guests can join workshops such as Pastel de Nata or Bolo de Mel, take part in a traditional Madeiran cooking class where they prepare poncha, bolo do caco and a full local meal, enjoy an open-fire “Espetada na Serra” experience in the mountains, or book a private chef experience in their villa or holiday home. Each experience is personal, relaxed and rooted in local culture — sharing the flavours and traditions of Madeira.
