Ribeira Brava Diving Center

Ribeira Brava Dive Center is located directly at Praia da Ribeira Brava and has long been part of the local diving scene. The center was founded by Carlos Relvas, who has been diving since the late 1960s and also established Calheta Dive Center. Most dives take place along the southwest coast of Madeira, with regular boat trips to various dive sites. Additional trips to other locations around the island are organised, including areas within natural reserves. All necessary equipment as well as a dedicated dive boat are available on site. The offer covers different experience levels, from first-time dives to advanced and professional training. In addition to snorkelling and Try Scuba, SSI-certified courses are available from beginner level through Divemaster and Instructor, including theory sessions, confined water and open water dives. The dive sites around Ribeira Brava feature varied underwater landscapes with rock formations, marine life and occasional wrecks. The center is well suited for anyone looking to explore Madeira underwater with local guidance.
