Levada dos Tornos to the end, descent to the Levada Nova, Achada da Morena, descent to a dry side branch of the Levada da Serra, along a small levada fed by the Levada Nova to the Levada do Moinho da Serra as far as the Madre, ascent to Madre de Agua and on to the Levada dos Tornos, back to the start
Distance: ca. 11.5 Km ca 250 Hm

Condition
Generally easy; the Levada do Moinho da Serra has a few exposed spots before the Madre, but they can be bypassed on the gravel track a little higher up.
Remarks
A classic circular walk, planned on the map in the hope that reality would match the plan. The area of the Madre of the Levada do Moinho da Serra is highly recommended
