Also known as Tour 2017-08-19 Camacha

Archival documentation — not a current hiking recommendation. Source file on danishome.ch last modified: 12 June 2020

End

16.25 Camacha

Condition

Walk 1: straightforward except for the Madre area of the Levada do Pico do Arvoredo. To the end of the tunnel, no problem; the bypass path is a little slippery; from the Madre to the start of the tunnel it is exposed and slippery!

Walk 2: straightforward. The Nogueira tunnel of the Levada dos Tornos is very low!

Notes

The upper part of the Levada do Pico do Arvoredo is very fine and varied; otherwise it is more for levada fanatics
