Mini-Hidrica Santa Quiteria

The Santa Quiteria small power station was built in 1994 together with the Socorridos power station.
The power-station building stands at 320 metres in Sta Quiteria, a suburb of Funchal.
The penstock branches off above the Socorridos turbine house and feeds a turbine in the station.
The output is 1,7 MW.
The water is treated in the water-treatment plant and fed into the drinking-water supply of Funchal and the surrounding area.
