Restaurante O Dragoeiro

O Dragoeiro is a warmly family-run restaurant set in a lush tropical garden, surrounded by orchids, hibiscus and anthuriums. At the centre stands an old dragon tree, softly lit in the evening and giving the place its unmistakable character. The menu combines Madeiran classics with international dishes. Guests often come for the Espetada Regional, steak on the hot stone or fresh swordfish. Very attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere and a well-chosen wine list make it a place where meals tend to last a little longer.
