Course
We started at the power station, on the Levada Nova east. From Lombo da Atougaia to the Caminho de Cales e Cheda I had not yet walked this section of the Levada Nova.
A relaxed walk with no spectacular highlights, first to Lombo de Doutor, then to Lombo de Atougaia, dos Faias and das Florencas, to the junction with the Caminho de Cales e Cheda, then, as already in 2021, 2016 and 2022, below Pico do Arco to the crossing of the Ribeira da Madalena.
Here we visited my power spot, at the eastern crossing of the main branch of the Ribeira da Madalena. A beautiful place, which we enjoyed at length.
Then back by the same path. At the end I looked at the changes at the power station made since my last visit in 2022.

Condition
Sure footing and a head for heights are advisable for the whole walk (the low levada walls).
Remarks
Even on the 4th time, it is always good to be in this area.
