Course

In the valley of the Ribeira das Cales above Marocos, a path to the end of the Levada do Marocos 3 and to the Levada do Canical, then 2 descents more, and after that a path above the terraces as far as a way down to the Levada do Canical and the Levada do Marocos 3 running below, a crossing of the PR-5 to the Casa das Funduras, to the Portela pass and to the gravel-track network between the Casa das Funduras and the Portela pass. Here it also crosses the Levada da Cova Fria ou do Lombo da Roçada, then a stream crossing and the course continues above the terraces, on along the lombo between the Ribeira das Cales and the Ribeira Grande.

The levada crossed the Ribeira Grande and ran above Ribeira Grande as far as Lombo do Cheque.
