PR18: Levada do Rei

The PR18 Levada do Rei is a popular and easily accessible hike that leads along one of Madeira's most beautiful levadas through lush laurel forest. The well-maintained, mostly shady path offers impressive nature experiences, small waterfalls and dense, green vegetation. A spectacular waterfall awaits at the end of the route before returning along the same path. A stop at the cozy snack bar “Quinta Levada do Rei” right at the starting point is highly recommended - ideal for a coffee or snack before or after the tour.
